The Challenge

A world-class product hidden behind an outdated web presence.

Wohler Technologies are the benchmark for broadcast monitoring equipment — trusted by major media organisations across the US, Europe and Asia Pacific. But their website told a different story. Dense navigation, an overwhelming product catalogue and no clear path for new visitors to understand what they were buying or why Wohler was the right choice.

The site needed to reflect the company's actual standing — market-leading, technically authoritative, and trusted by the world's biggest broadcasters. It also needed to function as a genuine sales tool: surfacing the right product, to the right buyer, with the right level of technical detail.

Discovery

Three buyer types. Three radically different needs.

We started by mapping the decision journey for three distinct buyer types — broadcast engineers, procurement managers, and AV integrators — and found that each needed radically different entry points into the product catalogue. That insight shaped everything that followed.

Broadcast engineers wanted deep technical specifications up front. Procurement managers needed compliance data, pricing signals and vendor credibility. AV integrators needed compatibility matrices and integration guides. One homepage was serving none of them well. We built a site architecture that created clear, separate paths — without fragmenting the brand.

Product-first architecture

Organised listings by use case, not SKU, so buyers found what they needed without a catalogue number.

Event-led homepage

A live event calendar on the homepage put launches, webinars and trade shows front and centre — turning the site into a channel.

SEO from the ground up

Keyword research, technical SEO, and content strategy targeting every commercial-intent term in the broadcast monitoring category.
